I founded The Cotswold Career Concierge with three aims:
1️⃣ Empower talented individuals: To help professionals rediscover their passions and build authentic, fulfilling careers that become the foundation for long-term success, meaningful impact and personal and professional acceleration.
2️⃣ Reform career programmes for a modern world: To transform how careers are designed, delivered and sustained. Ensuring employers, educators and institutions adapt to a world that craves agility, innovation and authenticity. Every programme I have designed and delivered is built using my proven, transformative methodologies that have already reshaped thousands of careers.
3️⃣ To advocate for career equality for all: To drive meaningful change across employability, accessibility and social mobility. Ensuring every individual, no matter their start in life, has access to outstanding career innovation, world-class guidance and the skills to succeed. I have always been committed to disrupting outdated systems and championing a fairer, more inclusive and modern future of work that reflects the richness and diversity of modern Britain.
My Journey:
I see you. I understand. I’ve been there. Facing career adversities and barriers first-hand. Empowering others has always been my calling.
After years of running large recruitment programmes for corporations, I realised something needed to change. I recognised the need for innovative consultancy that prioritised people: their growth, fulfilment and passions, before business needs.
For over eight years, I’ve been empowering my clients to design careers that accelerate their potential and align with who they truly are. I’m incredibly proud of the difference I continue to make and the tangible impact this work delivers every single day.
Experience and Expertise:
With over 25 years’ experience across career transformation, employability, recruitment strategy, programme design, business lecturing and career coaching, I have delivered human-centred, data-driven solutions that remove barriers to entry and create measurable outcomes in growth, confidence and progression.
I’ve built networks across the voluntary, charity, government and private sectors, having worked within both start-ups and global corporations. I’ve managed large-scale recruitment campaigns across England, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, including Experienced Hires, Internships and Apprenticeships programmes and have also designed and delivered tailored recruitment and retention strategies for smaller organisations with high-impact results.
I’m a qualified lecturer and a Fellow of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) - the UK’s recognised authority for employability and recruitment best practice. In addition to leading my consultancy practice, I currently serve as:
-
Management Consultant - Variety of Institutions & Charities
-
Career Strategist – The Royal Agricultural University
-
Career Expert, Business & Employability Mentor – The King’s Trust
-
Business Ambassador – Society Without Abuse (formerly Swindon Women’s Aid)
-
Business Mentor – The Growth Hub
For four years, I also volunteered as a panel member for His Majesty’s Youth Justice Service, supporting under-19s through reparation and rehabilitation programmes. I have experience supporting individuals with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), particularly in navigating the recruitment and employability process.
Career Highlights:
-
One of my proudest achievements was spearheading a Global Gender Diversity Research Initiative for one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies. This project not only identified key diversity gaps but also led to the creation of targeted recruitment and retention initiatives - driving meaningful action toward a more equitable workforce.
-
Playing a direct role in designing and innovating youth employment initiatives, acting as a management consultant within institutions to reimagine and rebuild career programmes for a modern world. These projects have directly improved employability outcomes for young people from all backgrounds - equipping them with career identity clarity, confidence and employability skills needed to thrive in today’s evolving workplace. The outcomes have been truly inspiring!
-
I’ve also designed and delivered pioneering career methodology programmes that have guided professionals from burnout and unfulfilling work into roles that align with their true identities, passions and purpose. Not only enabling them to live their best lives but also give back and uplift others along their journey.
Recognition:
I’m honoured to have been shortlisted for the 2025 Candidate Experience of the Year Award by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) - the UK’s leading authority on employability and recruitment best practice. What is so meaningful is that this has been judged by a panel of industry experts using client stories and transformations and client feedback.
Beyond Work:
Outside of my professional work, my greatest passions are writing, farming, family and friends (and yes — a touch of alliteration!). I’m proud to balance a life rooted in community, curiosity and connection - the same values that drive everything I do in my work.
